journalism

I'm a multiple award-winning (and losing) journalist, who has previously taken home Best Print Feature Idea at the BSMEs, Journalist of the Year at the AOPs and New Consumer Magazine Journalist at the PPA Awards. I have used my work to champion causes close to my heart such as abortion rights (successfully helping to introduce the 'pills by post' option on a permanent basis) and to rally for stricter laws around deepfake porn.

After starting as an intern on print at Cosmopolitan, I am now Features Editor where my role has grown to also include digital and reworking stories for social media. As well as print pieces, I keep the features section of the website fresh with inspiring long reads, cutting edge investigations and moving first-person stories (be it by writing or commissioning). I also take care of Cosmopolitan's health content which spans everything from talking about why I went spent a year sober to reset my relationship with alcohol, to trying the latest 'it' fitness class or delving into whether or not we're all taking too many supplements these days (spoiler: we are!).

As well as an almost decade-long career at the world's biggest women's publishing brand, I have also written for the likes of The Times, Women's Health, Marie Claire, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar and The Independent.
